Orca III is an Oceanic 46 steel hull with a nice round transom. Built in 1986 in Cowichan Bay, we are the second owners. The windshield, davits, and arch are all built by Steve. We went with a canvass top instead of a full hardtop for ease of design and to keep the weight down. This boat has sure changed a lot since we first bought her. email us orca3dionne@gmail.com

Greetings to your family. We are also a homeschooling family following your journey after being introduced to you through the SelfDesign village. We have two girls, ages 7 and 5. Their mom and dad have dreamed of doing something much like you are. We have many years of subscriptions of Lats & Atts despite never having owned a sea-going vessel. Best wishes on your journey and we will be following your posts with interest.
