Orca III is an Oceanic 46 steel hull with a nice round transom. Built in 1986 in Cowichan Bay, we are the second owners. The windshield, davits, and arch are all built by Steve. We went with a canvass top instead of a full hardtop for ease of design and to keep the weight down. This boat has sure changed a lot since we first bought her. email us orca3dionne@gmail.com

Happy Thanksgiving !!
Just sitting having my morning coffee and if I concentrate very very hard, I can almost hear the sounds of you working on your boat, and children playing.
Everything is good on D Dock, tomato's are doing fine, Kia (the evil beast cat) is getting use to me being in charge of the food.
Love the Blog, great pictures,
oh ya...black king to bishop 2
From Bill at Sunset, I forgot to mention that Jenny (Genoa) the cat went with me, I guess that means I wasnt single handing. I just took three boxes of boat books to Goodwill m(used store) up by Safeway. Some good reading and some good maintainence books, 12 volt bible, Nigers 12 volt book. If you havent left yet, its a good place to get books cheap.
Good Luck
Bill
Happy Turkey Day,
Linda and I had thanksgiving with Laverne and her kids (and grandkids) and Greatgrandmother Olga yesterday.
I've enjoyed the blog, you all look so healthy and happy.
In talking to Wendy at Bill's Memorial, your mom said there was some kind of gps link to Orca III. We'd love to get that.
Fair winds.

Hey Alan, call my mom ( Wendy) cause she has that info. Believe or not I don't. My mom was here the day we set that all up with our ham radio guy and she wrote down how to do it . I had to ask her my ham radio email address even!! hahaha
Dionne
Good luck with the Thur-Fri window, we've got our fingers crossed for you! I guess that means we won't be seeing you in San Diego - we'll be there tomorrow (Thurs).
Great to see your photos!

Missing the chirping that we are used to on C. Lyn says she hopes you get your window of opportunity. Colin, says, when you do, go like hell.
Rain, rain, go away, come again another week.

Good luck. May the weather Gods be smiling upon you. We are looking forward to posts from CA.
Lucas misses Emma and calls for her every day.
