Halloween in Sausilito

we did the trick or treating thing with the kids in Sausilito. They do a parade and all the stores down the main street give out candy. The rec center has all kinds of tables set up in the basketball courts with candy, glow sticks galore, books and toys for the kids treat bags. They also did a haunted house. that was quite cool. Even saw some people who we met the previous day at the park. There are NO fireworks, strange not to hear all that banging. We also walked to a few houses. The streets here have very steep hills!! All in all it was a good time. We over heated the engine the other night. Got a jellyfish stuck in the intake and it caused us a muffler. Steve has patched it for now and we have one waiting for us in Hunting Beach ( close to LA) There's $300 we didn't want to spend. Oh well, at least the engine is Okay. It is quite foggy this morning - eerie . usually the fog burns off by mid day, however this one is thicker than the others have been.

Terrorism by jelly fish eh? Drag about that.

We've had fog here as well. It was pretty thick this morning, but seems to be burning off already. Yesterday it burned off by noon.

Sounds like you had a nice Halloween in Sausalito. I think you are getting comfortable with the place.

You still going to be there this weekend?

Hi from Sandra
Lovely to see you kids all dressed up and having fun. Sorry about the jelly fish attack and #300.00 spent that you hadn't planned on. I went out for dinner rather than stay home and give out candies.
Loving you all - and wondering what your next plans are.

Ahoy there,
Rachel and I spent Hallowe'en in Burkeville and had a great time with some good friends.
Been handing out your blog site to people who are really interested in your journey...it's fun sharing your trip with others and bragging about my adventurous extended family!
Too much candy around work today - good thing I can say 'no' - yeah, right :) Went for a good powerwalk tonight to burn it all off!
Looking forward to hearing about your next leg of the journey with no more mechanical interruptions!
Cheers with a big hug to you all,
Love Heather

Actually it's not that I'm 'bragging' about my extended family; it's that I'm 'very proud' of what you're doing and love sharing your adventure with others!
Love you all tons and yes, missing you too but so very happy for you.
Cheers from Heather

Hello you wonderful people!!! Having a good time, it appears. I've joined Ila's musical theatre group and am having a blast...totally uncoordinated and screwing up the routine on occasion but I'm not the only one so we've had some wonderful laughs. When you get back you'll have to join us. We'll teach you all how to tap-dance....lol
Miss you all so much.
Love always,
Auntie Sandy
