Well we went to a blues night at the Sausilito Cruising Club on Monday night and Steve was up on stage playing his harmonica. Boy he sounded great!! Emma was dancing "all night long!" she was the bopping queen! wonder where she gets that?! Kyle was listening to all the musicians. they even had 2 sax players, Maya also did her fair share of bopp'n. we had a great time. Have made many friends there!! Left the next morning to cross the bay and are in Oakland right now. We spent Tuesday night tied to the public dock right in Jack London Square.
trivia question- Who is Jack London and what is he famous for? prize for the right answer.
Tomorrow is Kyle's 13th Birthday!! oh my god, I have a teenager on a 46ft boat!! what am i going to do? haha.
Just stocking up ( groceries, water, little bit of fuel- expensive!! and some more fittings for that watermaker.) We are going to hit Alcatraz this weekend and start planning to head out to the open ocean again further down south. It's getting cold here for me!!
answer to the question on the next posting - look forward to your answers!

Ahoy Orca III,
First thing...Happy 13th Birthday Kyle and welcome to the teen years! One piece of advice from me, don't throw any teenage attitude toward your Mom or she (and I) might have to give you the 'compassionate boot.' (Mom knows what that means!)
A big hello to all of you and glad you're still having fun with all sorts of activities, including music and dancing, how great!
Love checking your blog and reading the other entries - it's kind of like one big social gathering and you guys are the honored guests - an extended party Dionne, just what you'd love:)
Big hugs with many blessings for safe travel, Love Heather

I've received your mail, thanks. To where is your boat headed next? It sounds like fun was found in the San Francisco Bay, I hope that each harbor brings you new adventures and friends. Fair winds and calm seas to you.
