Well we have our weather window and will be leaving tonight to head south. We are heading to Eureka California. We have been checking in with a weather guy and he has given us this window. Send good energy for a nice trip down for us first timers!! Sorry we won't see you John and Cheryl in San Diego. Bummer!! Look forward to some hot weather!! Emma misses Maggie. So does Maya and also Kyle.

Funny that you are going to Eureka as that was a place my mother (your grandmother) went to and spoke of often. And of course, Uncle Wayne sent me an email yesterday using Eureka as the Subject!!!(won't tell you why!) Anyway, am happy to hear you are on your way to some warm weather...Dana is not online yet so wants me to pass on her love and how she misses you all (especially the Perquackey Games)! She can check the blog and does daily.

Good luck you guys! We;ll be thinking about you and trying to hear you and Ron K on the Ham (So far we have not been able to get a clear line). Seems like there is a family in Gray's Harbour also waiting for a window, hopefully you'll meet one another.

Bon Voyage! Wishing you fair winds and following seas. You might want to check the bar conditions with the USCG on VHF before you attempt to enter the Eureka Harbour. We had a wild ride in the first time we were there on Wanderlust V.
