About US
- Dionne, Steve, Kyle Maya , Emma
- We are a family of 5 who have lived aboard Orca III for 11yrs. steve has been living on boats for 25+ yrs Dionne for 14yrs and all three kids have only ever been on a boat. Kyle's almost 13, Maya almost 11 and Emma is 7. We have a dog, Lady (15yrs) and cat Maggie (3 1/2 yrs). We are planning to leave for our Big Offshore trip to the South Pacific this August. Watch for our updates during our adventure!!

They used eye patches to have one eye adjusted for the top deck and the other eye already adjusted for the darkness when suddenly going below deck. The strong sunlight while above deck on an oceangoing vessel could require minutes of adjustment to the dim lighting below deck.

Well, there you go again Dana!! I didn't get a chance to return to the blog yesterday so I guess the only way I'm going to be the first one is if You (Dionne) post the question just before 3am every day. Think you could do that? (did I just hear a resounding "I don't THINK so!") I'm not surprised, it's a little much to ask..lol.
Today is our Xmas lunch and a chance to meet the big boss so am quite excited about that. Then I am meeting with Marge and the girls from Richport Ford for their little xmas get-together. It's going to be a busy but very pleasant day I'm sure.
Also...I LOVE Judy Contois' answer to the Trivia question - I'm still chuckling.
